The short answer

Consider GroupGreeting for a signed card, Kudoboard for a shared board of messages and media, Voice Bouquet for familiar voices without filming, or Tribute for a video montage. Choose the finished gift first, then check the work and price for your group.

Written by the Voice Bouquet team, including situations where another format may fit better.

A voice card fits when

You want to keep the way people speak, laugh, and say thank you. Contributors can record at different times, and the recipient listens through a link.

Compare other options when

You want something to print or read silently: compare text cards. If faces and movement matter, compare filmed videos. Start with how the recipient will enjoy the gift.

01

Start with what the recipient will open

For a remote colleague, a parent’s birthday, or a teacher’s thank-you gift, “a group card” can mean several different things. These four services offer different ways to gather everyone’s contribution.

ServiceThe finished giftConsider it when…
GroupGreetingA digital greeting card with written messages and imagesYou want the familiar experience of everyone signing a card
KudoboardA shared board of messages, photos, and GIFs; Premium also includes video postsYou want a collection people can browse, with different kinds of contributions
Voice BouquetA page of voice messages; an optional video combines voices and photosYou want people’s voices without asking them to film themselves
TributeA video montage made from contributed clipsSeeing faces, expressions, and movement is part of the gift

02

Separate the group’s task from the organizer’s work

A collection of posts and an edited film are different gifts. If you choose a montage, leave time to review the clips and assemble it; “DIY” does not mean a paid editor does that work for you.

ServiceContributorsOrganizer
GroupGreetingOpen the shared card link and add messages or images. Signers do not need to registerChoose and purchase a card, share the signing link, review entries, and schedule delivery
KudoboardAdd posts to the shared board using the media supported by its planSet up the board, invite contributors, and schedule delivery or share the recipient-view link
Voice BouquetOpen a recording link in a browser, allow microphone access, and record. No contributor account or app requiredShare the link, listen through the contributions, complete the bouquet, and send the listening link. Add a video if wanted
Tribute (DIY)Record or upload a video through the invitation page, review it, then submit with a name and emailCollect clips, arrange and trim them, and add photos, titles, or music in the editor before finishing

What does one gift cost, and what is free?

Other services’ prices are the published US-dollar prices checked on September 18, 2026. This comparison covers one gift, rather than workplace subscriptions or pooled gift-card funds. Check the final checkout total, including any applicable taxes.

Count the right unit: Kudoboard limits posts, Voice Bouquet counts recordings, and Tribute prices by collected footage. For example, 25 people making one recording each fit within Voice Bouquet’s limit: audio delivery is free, and the video is free for now, too.

ServicePrice for one giftFree scope or limit to check
GroupGreetingUS$5.99 plus tax; unlimited signatures and pagesA demo is available to try. The card must be purchased before inviting people to sign
KudoboardLite: US$6.99, up to 20 posts. Premium: US$9.99, up to 100 posts. Milestone: US$19.99, unlimited postsA free demo allows 5 posts; its help page says delivery through Kudoboard is unavailable. Premium adds video and a download

A download can be a still image, a PDF, or a video

Choose the format you want to keep, not just a service that says “download.” A printable snapshot will not preserve moving clips or sound.

ServiceWhat you can saveWhat to check
GroupGreetingA PDF becomes available after deliveryThe official guide says the online card link is available for one year from delivery
KudoboardPremium and Milestone include a JPG poster snapshotVideos and GIFs appear as still images in that download. It is not a video montage
Voice BouquetAn optional downloadable video of voices, photos, and music, free for nowFree listening is through the bouquet page, with no viewing expiry. The old link stops working if the recipient link is regenerated, or if the data is deleted on request
Tribute (DIY)The completed HD MP4, without a watermarkIts pricing and DIY guides describe the download but do not state a web retention period

05

Different groups value different things

In conversations and service trials, preparation time was only part of the choice. One person trying the service for a workplace farewell valued the time spent decorating and handwriting a paper group card as part of the gift. Another felt shy about having their voice recorded and preferred a written card.

An organizer who collected voices for a preschool teacher, meanwhile, described their experience this way:

With video, you worry about the background and what you are wearing. Because it was just our voices, it felt easy to take part.

— Organizer of a gift for a preschool teacher

Would the recipient treasure a paper card, enjoy hearing familiar voices, or want to see faces and movement too? Consider their preferences alongside what contributors can comfortably make. You could also pair a letter or paper group card with a link or QR code for listening to the voices.

06

When another format may work better

  • For a colleague who will read the gift at their desk, a signed card or message board can work without speakers or headphones.
  • If you want contributors to choose between writing and adding visual media, compare the card or board options and their plan limits.
  • If expressions, dancing, or a group performance are the point, collect filmed clips. Voice Bouquet combines audio and still photos; it does not collect face-to-camera videos.
  • If you need more than 30 separate recordings or messages longer than three minutes each, Voice Bouquet’s limits do not fit that plan.
  • For people who feel uncomfortable recording themselves, leave room to choose a written message or a paper card.

07

Choose one example and one invitation before starting

Look at a finished example, picture the recipient opening it, then decide what you can reasonably ask each contributor to make. For an event, test the speakers and connection or the downloaded file before the celebration.

If voices are the right fit, try a specific prompt such as “In 15–30 seconds, tell us one memory you share.” Give people a deadline that leaves the organizer time to listen and check the finished gift.
